Spinning off from their parent company in 2006 Bovard Insurance Group is a Personal lines and Commercial insurance brokerage firm who has now grown to 20 employees.
Business situation
With half of the staff being outside sales, access to Email was not always possible. Multiple programs needed to be managed in order to sync the device with outlook data makes outlook synchronization almost impossible.
Technical situation
BIG's entire server system is ran in the datacenter on Microsoft Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. The only other requisite was security certificates on the server for secure communication.
Solution
Active sync was available at our disposal and with all of the device blend active sync capable, the solution was to secure server communications and implement the client devices.
Benefits
Email is completely synchronized creating a standard platform for messaging that the sales force understands. All contact, calendar and email data is fully secured and available.
